Dr Kate Amos, BDSc (Hons 1), MHPE, FPFA, FICD

Dr Kate Amos is a dentist with a commitment to regional healthcare and passionate about education and sustainability as a means of building public trust in the dental profession. Kate is a Graduate of the University of Queensland (Dentistry 1st Class Honours), Monash University (Masters in Health Professional Education), Women in Leadership Australia (Advanced Leadership Program) and the Australian College of Infection Prevention and Control. Kate’s contributions to dental education and representation have been recognised by Professions Australia (Young Professional of the Year 2015) and ADA (Young Dentist Award 2021). Beyond clinical dentistry, Kate maintains involvement with several ADA Committees, the Australian Dental Council and Directorship of Dental Compliance Australia.

Dr Dominic Aouad, BDS MBA FPFA FICD

Dominic is a general dentist and partner at his own dental practice in Sydney. Dominic has previously served as a professional officer and authorised person with the Dental Council of NSW, and currently serves on various ADA committees as well as a Board Director at ADA NSW branch and Filling the Gap charity organisation. Dominic has a Masters in Business Administration and is a co-founder of Dental Compliance Australia, that has a focus on improving dental practitioner compliance and patient outcomes. Dominic is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and in 2020 was awarded the ADA Valuable Service Award for his contribution to policy and regulation throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
